Established in 2010, Chicago Roundup is a multi-day conference for the LGBTQIA+ community and their supporters who are members of a 12-step recovery program. (This year’s Chicago Roundup takes place August 23-25 at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St. in Chicago.) Operated entirely by volunteers, Chicago Roundup says it aims to create a safe place for members to enrich their sobriety, make new friends, and celebrate their recovery.

Chicago Roundup is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Illinois that provides several events annually for the LGBTQIA+ 12-step recovery community and its supporters. As a nonprofit organization, its events and operations are funded almost entirely through its own contributions, including the registration fees collected from members each year.
