Meeting Profiles: Monday Night Steppin’ in Andersonville

Each Monday at 7:30 p.m., this weekly speaker/share meeting focuses on a different step, going in order from 1-12, each week. The secretary of the meeting pre-selects a speaker on the particular step each week.

During the sharing portion, the room illuminated in candlelight, members are invited to share on the step of the week, or just to check in, during the sharing portion of the meeting. The glow of the candles encourages deep and honest shares from members. By incorporating a speaker, step-work subject, and sharing, this meeting touches on key aspects of recovery.

A closed meeting (only addicts may attend) all are welcome at Steppin’ in Andersonville, held every Monday at 7:30 pm. Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1650 W Foster Ave. in Chicago.
